When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name or e-mail address.  You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

We do not retain any identification numbers from financial institutions in our database.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Texas Foreign Language Association is to advance the study of languages other than English and their literatures and cultures through dissemination and publication of information and data; recognition of excellence in study and teaching; encouragement of program development and best teaching practices, including instructional technology; promotion of state organizations; and cooperation with regional, national, and international organizations also dedicated to the advancement of the study of languages other than English.Texas Foreign Language Association (TFLA)

The purpose of this organization shall be the advancement of the study of modern and classical languages and their literatures and cultures at all levels of instruction:

  • by disseminating and publicizing information, data, and materials which promote, develop, and enhance the study and teaching of languages together with their literatures and cultures;
  • by recognizing and publicizing excellence in second language study and teaching;
  • by encouraging the development of outstanding foreign language programs;
  • by promoting the work and interest of state foreign language organizations;
  • by cooperating with regional, national, and international organizations whose purposes are compatible with those of TFLA.

Online Transaction Information
We do not disclose credit card or any other banking account information provided by its members and customers.  When members and customers choose to pay using their credit cards or online check,  TFLA submits the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate processing agent, Authorize.NET.  All electronic financial information is encrypted during the process.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
