Title of Workshop: Yes I can! Using can do statements to illuminate the path to proficiency.
Topic: In this session we will learn how to make the path to proficiency clear for our students by designing and implementing learning goals and can-do statements in ways that set students up for success and motivate them to engage at a deeper level and persevere in the journey. During the session we will explore how to use can do statements as a tool for student self-monitoring/ reflection, collaborative peer assessment, feedback and goal setting.
